LRX is very hard to patent/protect is my guess. Non words like Evoque sorry Evogue borrow the pixie dust from big brother RR Vogue name and then tweak it to a word which can be protected in many regulatory domains.

Non words avoid the blunderful concept of the french Toyota MR2 launch being referred to as Toyota launching a sh*t coupe.

It allows a single brochure/badge/name/publicity campaign to travel the world. I would have to say they have chosen a very very good name for it given this "non-word" marketing speak world we live in.

As a play on words it is quite good, Evocative, Vogue, E-Vogue. Had it been a hybrid would even hit the iPod e-gadget geek moment.

I only hope this super marketing world is not going to overpower the brutally strong brand reputation that RR/LR have spent many years building and go all Beck'm Jeans on us. Might ChavRover be the next model ?

Now who else did that sound like G4FUJ ?

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
