This Age of Steam Roundhouse is right down the road from me in Sugarcreek, Ohio. It is privately owned housing old steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars and other railroad equipment. The roundhouse was built by owner Jerry Joe Jacobson and completed in 2011. This is the first full-sized working roadhouse built in the United States since 1951. It is also now one of the largest heavy timber structures in the US. Unfortunately Jerry Joe Jacobson just passed away on September 13, 2017. This video is in honor of his dream.
