I could find the chassis number, thanks to the agency to which it was delivered. They didn't sell many Morgans and only 1 4/4 Series III. Of that type of Morgan (with originally the 997 cc engine fitted) only few examples are known to survive.
That would be brilliant!
It seems that the 4/4s of the period were not very durable or, as classics, of much interest!
