Paul I never actually checked mileages -v- cost out, but figured 5000 should be fine. Got my 928 on the same plus everyday car and the big estate too so too many cars anyway.
Rog I was certainly interested in your comment about the throttle body mod for the 1.8. Looking at photos as far as I can see, the 2.0 is just a slight reshape of the metal plate connected to the throttle cable. So 10 minutes with a dremel or £15 for a second hand 2.0 throttle body and you have a faster car ?!? Is it that simple ? Out of interest where in Somerset are you ?
