Panini made a fortune in Venezuela in farming and then returned to join the family publishing business and is best known for the Italian equivalent of football cards. When the Maserati collection was going to be sold off arrangements were made to stop the auction and buy the whole collection. They are now housed in a purpose built building on his Parmesan Cheese producing farm. Groups have to pay a small fee and get a guided visit of the cheese production (English and other languages can be arranged). Small groups up to 5 can visit the museum by appointment. There is a farm shop opposite the museum and you can buy their trully excellent bio Parmesan cheese vacuum packed.
It's got my mouth watering just writing about it
