Lovely lunch..!
Great to catch up with people & have a chuckle or three plus we were invited to participate in David's impromptu auction of some amazing Morgan memorabilia in aid of the All Morgans Day chosen charity of Combat Stress (he's part of the organisation team..)
It was a close run thing, but Perry duly won and proudly displayed the prize on his jacket lapel..
There was quite a bit of snow still around up there on the Cotswold landscape, indeed there was about 50 metres or so of a few inches still across the road at one point. It was an easy decision to leave the polished alloy of the Brooklands safely in the warm garage, but it was a bit sad to meet up without it.
The Aero of Alistair's was resplendent on the icy car park surface and sounded flipping gorgeous when he went to leave. Big respect there, on a day like today but they are meant to be driven and I can't help feeling slightly crestfallen pitching up in Mrs SBM's Audi..
Well done Tim for setting it all up, and once again the Goose had some great beer and food. We even bumped into someone eating with his family in the pub that confessed he too was a Morgan owner..!!
