Bypassing all the minutiae for a moment, I bought one a few years back for hair drying the bikes before popping them back in the shed. It's the massive version though (bought at a show and the show price was a 'must'...it's a bloke thing..) and will easily shoot leaves and dust up if pointed at the ground..

It's a great way to get the nooks and crannies perfectly dry, but it's not quick. Water does take a while to evaporate completely once it's chased out and you notice because it tracks across the paint you've just dried, so you do several passes hunting out the final drops.

The bike valeters use them every time, though. They can't primp and polish until it's all dry, which is very similar to giving the Mogster a good bath.

I don't use it every time, but they are good bits of kit and worth having in the cleaning armoury.

I think the one that's the size of a hand sprayer would be ideal.
