Great stuff. I've always wondered how these people get the money to embark on these expeditions, they must be quite expensive to do.
Quite a commitment too, there's not many employers that would let you have 7 months or more off work, and if I shut my business down for year whilst I went on such a jaunt, I doubt I'd have many clients when I got back, they'd have found somebody else.
Still, it's great that there are people out there who can embark on such adventures and tell the rest of us about it when they get back. The I was young I was captivated by Ted Simon's 'Jupiter's Travels' about his round the world trip on a Triumph 500.
