Sometimes they will straighten the chassis or fit a new one if the car is in generally good condition.
When I had an altercation in my Sport chassis straightening was the solution - so I rejected it and took the insurance money full market value and bought the Plus8.
I knew I would not feel happy driving a car whose chassis had been subjected to severe torsional distress twice !
I would be surprised to see this one written off.
