The 1947 flatrad eventually sold for £14,900, the previous discussion is here - 1947 Flat rad on ebay.

It was a dodgy looking listing but the seller appeared to specialise in damaged repairable classics and as far as I could tell was genuine. The adversarial wording of his adverts was clearly fair warning that he wouldn't be messed about with!

I don't know how this compares with the recent one.
