I have the car set up at 20 psi on new tyres..I think your tyres are original and even at 1700 miles run they will be hard due to age.
New tyres would be a good move if you don't like the ride.
Suspension settings: 4 clicks on the front and 6 on the rear.

Just for the fun of it, try is also in the opposite way. I always had very good results concerning comfort and sportive controlled handling when the back was softer than the front, which is so I have learned often the general setting at old school cars. It must not be exactly 6 and 4 clicks but a tendency to make the rear softer than the front.
