I've just had a call from a friend who's M3W had 'just stopped' while driving along normally. He had been stranded on the side of the road for 1.5 hours and had called an AA recovery vehicle. They in turn had advised that it might be 5 or 6 hours until they reached him!
My mind drifted back a week to Curborough where Warbird's car had cut out in a similar fashion while being driven gently around the track.

On that occasion it didn't take long for a swarm of 3 Wheeler experts to gather round and determine that the fuel cut-off switch had tripped.
Therefore, I directed my stranded friend to press the 'switch' down behind the oil tank and hey presto his engine started first time.
Of course he now thinks I'm a genius!
