only early aero 8 do not have certficate of conformity, all the other have making the process of registering the car very simple:
ask for the CoC to MMC
get the tax form in france
get to the MOT or equivalent (contrôle technique)
and you're done. if you need help I can provide
@ Graham: as for carand classic it's in the favorites too. as a buyer from abroad guarantee means little to me, admittedly I will be a minority here, so I am more inclined in trying to buy direct from owner
