When I was first and only once till now over there I was litterarly shocked in what a good shape and maintanance used items are. They really take care of their belongings. It seems to be a loss of face to offer something that is not perfectly maintained. This is not only true for cars but also for jazz and rock guitars, another hobby of mine.
When I am there again I wanted to visit a used car dealer for fun. The culture is very different from us. There are fewer but very large dealers with hundreds of cars each dealer. Unfortunately, almost all air-cooled 911 have automatic transmissions. But if anything, I'm looking for a 190E 2.3 16V.
BTW they like to buy LHD cars in the higher classes as long they are not British RHD anyway.

As they drive on the left hand side of the road a lot of their second hand cars appear over here, the Eunos came over in droves and quite a lot of the MINI's and of course EVO's and Subaru's.
