Probably is the rain. The bad news is that things round here are drying out a bit too well. We now need some rain to make the grass grow for the horses - hoping that 2018 is not the year we start feeding hay in the field before the beginning of June.

Managed a short (about an hour) hack out this morning. The blackthorn trees around here are all in flower turning many hedges and some woodland into a wonderful sea of white flowers. And I saw two skylarks. All in all a lovely ride out and a spring boost to the spirit of wellbeing.
