we have a Morecambe Bay prawner slowly rotting away in a mud berth at my club. Allegedly she originally was a prawner and used round where you are Jays and converted to a yacht later on.
Pity but the owner is a dreamer with health issues - taken on more that he can chew. Or is even trying to chew.
From what I have seen, and I have seen more than a few wooden boats, they are all a maintenance nightmare - or a full time maintenance hobby if you prefer. Thank heavens that my boat is made from what an old wooden boat friend called frozen snot.
