Having had over two years and 9000 miles of trouble free fun, thrills and excitement with my 2016 M3W, I today handed the keys over to my local dealer. I will certainly miss the beast but there are many reasons I'm trading it in for a new Roadster to be built shortly.
It may seem like a snap decision but have been considering it for some time, mainly to allow my partner to join me in some long distance touring - she refused to get in the M3W
To balance the books a little on the reliability issues many have had with the five speeders, I've had none of any importance with mine and it only failed to start once with flat battery mid winter when not used for six weeks. Icing on the cake was receiving what I paid for it new 27 months ago as deposit against the Roadster.
Look forward to picking up hints and tips on this new to me section of the forum.
