Same here. There have only been a couple of times when I was glad the trip was over. I put it down to a combination of the traffic/road combination causing irritation. Mind you, when back onto near-home roads that feeling went.
I used to have a 60 mile commute(each way) and bought diesel cars as they suitedthe distance/motorway. Now an ability to carry grandchildren/luggage etc is a major factor. I have looked at electric as the majority of journeys are within the range but held off due to initial cost and ownership costs being uncertain.
