Makes you appreciate the UK when you read of petty bureaucracy like this. Just spent the last week selling a house in Spain and it needs 8 people from different organisations round the table in the lawyers office to put itthrough and believe it or not a charge of 600 euro just to pay in the cheque and send to the UK.
I have just sold the last property that I had in Australia. It was all done over the internet with original copies of documents following up by courier. It would be almost unimaginable in Italy. I know of the sale of a property here in Italy that was held up for over a year by a little anomaly in the local council. Cost a lot of money to set it right
