Stick on the A14 & it will drop you into Felixstowe & the sea front (Edwardian sea side with lots of fish & chip shops) or go to Felixstowe ferry or Aldburgh (upmarket but with good fish restaurants).
Then there is Southwold , upmarket in a laid back way , plenty of sea sand and ...ice cream. Walberswick over the river by the sea has two excellent eating places , The Bell and the Anchor.
