Good God! Is the waitress Lady March in a tutu or something. Thats ridiculous. Would be expensive without the zero.
Well from the Goodwood site, apparently what you get is:
- Admission Badge to the Revival
- Banked trackside viewing right next to the assembly area
- Light breakfast with tea, coffee and soft drinks
- Champagne reception
- Buffet lunch
- Traditional English Afternoon Tea
- Unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks
- Event Programme, race card and radio earpiece
- Paddock access
I agree it's a daft amount of money but there is clearly a market for it.
The Mess is actually one of the cheaper packages, for £899 you can go for the
Salvadori with a four-course lunch, a balcony and a private garden.
Personally, I'm happy to sit on the grass and watch the racing with a £5 bacon roll from the NAAFI wagon.
