You will not go far wrong if you stick to DaveV greasing policy.
As for adjusting the hood rear catches, may I suggest that before you try anything drastic like adjusting the catches, you just stick a bit of grease around them as well to see if this helps.
That are just basic bonnet catches like we are all used to so you can lengthen or shorten the spring by just adjusting the central screw and, of course Dave W's book on "All you need to know about Morgans and were afraid to ask" is possibly better than a Haynes workshop manual.
