A few suggestions. Ask the factory for the cut out parts that get left behind. Assuming you can get the factory to respond. Maybe last resort is to fill the slot with something that does not match the wood or metal finish. A single slot fill in that can be used to hold the phone (until you hit the loud pedal? http://amzn.eu/3AZARNp
