Hello,

I have been thinking about some acoustic improvements on the bonnet of my 4/4 and did so with an astonishing result. The new anti-drumming mats (sort of Alubutyl by Surga ) take up most of the vibrations of that huge metal surface. I also added 2 heat-resistant foam strips at the hinge between the panels. Works terrific! No more drone: just solid, dry bass! cheers!
