It shouldn't make any difference, but in a V-8 and adding roller rockers, the noise always picks up a bit, even wit hydraulic lifters.
From what I've seen, it looks like S&S uses GM rockers, probably the GM lifters as well. Oh no, not the lifters, they make their own brand and sell them to replace the Harley lifters.
