Bit of info for the DIYers ….
The pipe connection to my washer pump (fitted to the water washer bottle) had a slight drip so I took the unit off to do a quick fix.
Now, I have always been bugged because the pump does not properly fit to the bottle, it is at an angle. It has been like that since purchasing the car new.
I determined the pump was from a Jaguar V12 E-Type, part number JLM9642. But, whose bottle?
A trip to David Manners, Oldbury sorted it out.
My pump is, indeed, from a V12 but the bottle is from a Mini (not BMW!). The right washer pump was less than a tenner and carries the part number GWW130.
I have no connection to David Manners but did find the staff very helpful.
I do appreciate, of course, you may have a completely different washer set up.
