Thanks all for the kind comments thumbs

BtG, thanks for sharing how to post pictures in the body of the text - thats what I wanted to do but couldn't easily find how to doh

In the process of detailing the car now. She has been washed, clayed, primed, polished, sealed and now putting on several layers of carnauba based wax before then sealing the wheels- I suppose thats at least one benefit of the weather restricting its use.

I have changed the side mirrors for stainless adjustable round ones, changed the rear view black OEM fitted one for a stainless one (both seem MUCH better), have ordered a chrome grill mesh, white indicator lenses and a pair of Dave's gaiters for the front springs. Additional power socket and leads are on order to wire directly to the battery so that I also have a power socket at the rear for my Accumate trickle charger (the Roadster already has one under the dash which I'll use for SatNav etc).

What else would people recommend for a new car? Perhaps something you did or wished you had done when you got yours?

Must say I'm very pleased that I went ahead joy (although I do miss having the Caterham too )

Paul
