Yes Reg,It was a money pit I fitted a Hartwell 998 imp engine which i then fitted to about three imps.The Davrian ended up in Germany with a n875 sport engine on strombergs.The magnificent Hartwell twin webbered engine finished its life with me in a fully rally prepared Singer chamois.I might have rose tints on but of all the cars ive owned i wish i could have it back.

As I recall, they were very nice cars but the Singer Chamois was a really classy little beast with just enough wood inside and that sloping back window/hatch to let you know where your money had gone.
Shame they never really caught on like Cooper minis!
