I thought I read or probably heard it from one of those rogue deviant ex MMC tour guides that the high roof line of the Plus 4 Plus was to accommodate the lady’s beehive hairdos in the 60’s

I have always thought that if the roofline of the Plus 4 Plus had extended further back down towards the rear (similar to a TVR 3000M -
http://tvrpre80s.de/angebot-3000m-cossi-lhd-2/ ) it would have been a success, notwithstanding the high price. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I never liked the look of the P4P purely because of the roofline.
