The factory made a one off V8 which was recently sold in the UK - didnt fetch more than a normal Dino if memory serves. But then Ferrari pricing is incomprehensible for the most part. I mean why is the price of a Dino as much as 4 times that of the 308 that followed and was a big improvement?
And somehow I feel uncomfortable with Yanks chopping a piece of art to produce a Kool Kustom. Easy to imagine some redneck modifying the Mona Lisa to incorporate a McDonalds logo. Maybe this one is a bit better since it does use a Ferrari engine rather than a small block Chevvy, but still ......
