Yes I know, I realised as soon as I’d posted, but I couldn’t be bothered changing it. I should have asked Hamwich or Bobthetrain if an Oxford comma could be used. I didn’t think so as it wasn’t a list. The sentence was in reply to a question which already inferred that it, ( the Lamborghini),was a wider car, maybe if i’d Included the full quote in the post, it would have made more sense, but then that makes for very long and repetitive posts which is something I don’t really enjoy. Would the sentence work with a comma before “and”? Or perhaps it’s just a bad sequence of words and should read, “ compared to ordinary cars, it’s a couple of inches wider and it’s narrower than campervans.” idea

I’m confused too now, but I’d still be perfectly happy to drive around in a Lamborghini. laugh2
