In the mid 80’s I visited a LR showroom and the new and unregistered Range-Rover in their showroom had a pool of Hypoy-90 underneath it. We all know what the salesman said when I mentioned it: “They all do that sir”.

They also had ‘porous’ water pump housings.
And northernmorgan, as for Stanley’s torque; I’m glad that the legend has spread!
