One look at your photos shows that it is not leather. The standard document holder is made from the same material as the Everflex hoods...from the offcuts in the trim shop. Leather ones are made from the leather offcuts from the trim shop. Offcuts sounds a bit “cheap”....it’s not as there is a fair bit of decent wastage from cutting the hides. I have a decent amount of it from my days there and it’s nice quality and nothing like your photo!
