Ewan - where did find rover Mini Cooper at £5k?
I was recently offered a Mini Mayfair, dry stored for 3 years, low mileage for £8k. Should have been reasonably easy to re-commission, but too many £ and I only have garage space for one car...
I didn’t single any out, but a quick look at cars for sale eBay, autotrader, cars and classis etc seems to be the starting price for a runner, with a bit of haggling of course!
If someone just wanted the fun of one without spending thousands, the non original panels aren’t very expensive and all the unseen bits could be cut out and patched safe enough , the car would never be anything like perfect, but it could be roadworthy and look okay from a distance.
