Some great suggestions here, thanks all. I was unaware that a Porsche jack was aluminum, certainly better (lighter) that a very old honda car jack.

I have not tried popping the bead on a front wheel such as these, only bicycle wheels which i suspect are far more difficult to lever off the rim. Is there a particular recommended tiretool for doing it?
One tool i carry in my mini coopers is a Leather an Tool. The Swiss Army knife on steroids.
