The issue is because of the low pressure caused by the “barn door” windscreen. it also causes the outer flap of the hood to fly out at speed allowing rain straight in at the top of the pillar.
My solution is to sew on some Velcro on the underside of the flap and stick a piece of the “hook” side of the Velcro to the front top of the windscreen pillar - result on two fronts - no water comes in and the sidescreen is also held where it should be!!!
It requires one to replace the Velcro each time one gets in(arm out the window) but the door opens out past it when getting out.
