Just think twice, before you are against support for the youngsters
and don't mix daily allowances and heating support with allocations for the Young.

A pensioner had a whole lifetime to work for his wealth and to safe money for the last part of his life. A youngster needs education and upfront investment to get a proper job which should keep the industry running, creates investments like flats or housing, car, consumer goods and so on.

I made my best income at higher age while I needed money at my early days.
Now spending makes fun, but is not a necessity. My personal approach is to donate a solid fund of education, housing and transport to my children so they can begin their life without high debits. Lots of people can not (or don't want to) provide such service to their offsprings. In such cases general support by the system can be helpful and is a good investment for the future.
