175/70/R15 CR6ZZ, on my 2011 4/4.
Grip in the dry is awesome.
Grip in the wet is pretty good.
Grip on flooded road, well none they aquaplane easily.
I understand however the tread pattern has changed slightly on the more recent ones. Which may improve the very wet performance.
I believe DaveW found the originals a bit “ squirmy” too.
Look good to in that size.
I have also heard some run 175s on the front & 185s on the rear.
