The rather sturdy steel ones that Morgan makes had appeal to me, but if they are nothing but rust buckets then it seems less impressive.
However I would not rule out using the services of a truck bedliner spray, like LINE-X, to thickly coat the underside, nooks and crannies all, to stop the incursion of water and road salts into the welds and seams.
