I have what I believe is a servo leak. When I press the brake pedal I can hear a hissing sound from the pedal area and the idle revs increase. The hissing continues as long as my foot is on the pedal.
Do you agree this sounds like the diaphragm leaking in the servo allowing the engine to suck in air when then increases the idle ?
I have a 2000 4/4 with the Zetec 1.8 and the servo looks like the one +8Rich was selling above.
I have only found these at Brands Hatch Morgan and you seem to have to buy the servo and master cylinder together.
Is a repair kit for the servo available ?
