They can be cloned very quickly. Never leave your car (tin top) alone with anything valuable in it at a motorway cafe particularly if you open the car and lock it again. There is a system that scans the signal when you lock or unlock the car and a few minutes later when you are out of sight they can open the car. This can be avoided by using the key in these circumstances.
