I'm with Worther's... age is a state of mind. My attitudes, sense of humour and politics are all roughly where they were when I was in my early 20s. This causes my kids to question my slightly infantile and none PC 1970s sense of humour!
I showed my son a Brunel University Rag Mag from the early 1970s. I thought it funny, he said it was sad, racist, sexist and pathetic.

The main difference is that I now have the financial means to indulge myself rather more, and my body shows me from time to time that it takes longer to recover from traumas than it used to. My ribs are slowly getting less painful.
I'm 68 next birthday, so lower mid range" amongst this community!.

I fully intend to keep active and mobile until the grim reaper calls, although I accept it may get harder as my joints age. Yesterday I hit all my health targets, including distance walked, hours in which I stood up snd time spent exercising. My blood pressure is where it should be, with a little help form the Pharmaceutical industry, I'm probably fitter after 15 months retirement than I ever was as a wage slave. Oh yes, I buy all the toys, so as well as a smart phone I use a watch to pay, plastic is SO old money.

I have never understood golf... it spoils a good walk in the country!
