A slight detour today - across to Skye. Torrential rain this morning so the Applecross pass was a little challenging! Well into the clouds at the summit, 10 meters or so visibility, so no view. A waterfall, somewhat larger than usual, manage to post itself through the side screen onto my right shoulder on one of the hairpin bends - icy cold!!
Sun came out after that for the run across Skye. Now at Carbost to visit Talisker distillery - fortunately no more driving today!!
Ferry to Mallaig tomorrow, then the long slog back to Devon via Loch Lomond.
