My method...I will take a photo later to show the final set up......
Release most of the studs including the SIDE turnbuckles but NOT the rear middle ones.
Fold the hood in on itself ( mine needs two folds) so that the rear and side/corner windows are kept flat.
Push this folded hood forward to cover the rear luggage shelf.
Move the side ends round and refit to the side turnbuckles.
This leaves the hood sticking up a bit so ease the centre part down just enough to keep rear mirror view clear.
The folded hood now forms a cover for the luggage area and if needed, is quickly raised back almost like an easy-up hood.
When parking you have the option of quickly raising the hood or use a storm cover. I have both a Librands one that covers the cockpit area and a John Taylor one that covers the bonnet. The Librands one is convenient as I put parking tickets in a clip on the windscreen and the cover can be positioned to keep it visible.
