With the cooling kit the engines run cooler than some people seem to think.
When they released the Urban Cooling Kit upgrade in 2014; MMC published a comparative test based on an approx. 30 mile test route which ended with about 5 mins of idle.
Without the fan the engine temp at the end of idle was 243 deg C but with the fan was only 117 deg C at the end of the idle period.
