One of the reasons for not using dish washing soaps is because it contains salt, right?
Yes, it contains lots of salt. It's also far too strong for cleaning a car with. It will strip a car of any wax it might have on it. Use it a few times and your paint will be dull and cloudy and in need of professional help.
I always say "metallic paintwork is really quite different from the inside of your kitchen pots!"
