The first really strong memory I have of my Morgan was driving down leafy country lanes (en route to Goodwood) on a mild evening as the leaves were turning with the side exits spitting and echoing off the verges and for a moment I was transferred back to the old Bentley Boys era, a true recollection of what forms 'Britishness' in my mind:

Bulldog spirit, guile and technology, righteousness and chivalry all wrapped up with a sense of fun and frolics.

Not a recipe for everyday, but nice to drop back to every now and again.

Now stop that Boshly.....you're making me reach for my rose tinted spectacles again !

Just had a really nice drive over to East Anglia this morning in the 4/4. Started out just as the sun was starting to burn through the morning mist. 160 or so miles with the top down, sun shining, got friendly waves from two Morganeers en-route (One at Holbeach on the A17 and one just past Kings Lynn on the A47.......hello again if you are reading this !)
Just relaxing now on my boat with a whiskey after a nice meal and a few beers earlier on this evening........yes, I feel very fortunate to be living in good old blighty.
God bless and good night all ! cheers

P.S. My boat is British made too, and powered by Perkins, just in case you were wondering...Craftsmanship at it's best.
