Yes, but entertaining nonsense and perhaps a nice balancing weight to one of the faults which DOES seem to accompany 'Britishness' whatever that is- and I admit I have no interest in it whatsoever- which is a tendency to take ourselves ( yourselves?) a tad too seriously.
