I sent something similar to my American friend which was so well received he had it printed on his Christmas cards to send to all his friends. It turns out that they can laugh at themselves just like us !!
They have a great sense of humour Reg, well you have to if you have a "special" relationship with a little island faraway where people sing "Rule Brittania" and "Land of Hope and Glory" - I can't be the only one here that finds that absolutely ridiculous in this day and age
and I'm pretty patriotic but the lyrics I find embarrassing.
