I think the red car at Williams looks tempting. I see they have done a service and some brake work on it. I know its MOT exempt BUT it could always be put in for a new one. Williams mention it had one last year with no advisories so I'd be surprised if they were not happy to get it tested for its new owner. Agree about taking someone along who knows these older versions - but feel a new MOT would offer some peace of mind also.
MOT ran out in November last year according to DVLA. Always a good idea to have an old vehicle checked out periodically. I have kept them up on my '68 MGB. Also shows responsible behaviour to any future purchaser.
